Hurghada-Paradise of Egypt
A famous tourist destination of Egypt other than Pyramids is Hurghada, a famous sea resort. The Hurghada is a busy sea town located on the shores of red sea stretching a coast of about 40 km. Though the city was founded in the early 20th century, it had shown a rapid development and expansion of the tourism industry during late 1980’s due to the foreign investments and the Egyptian government. The Tourism department provides many aquatic adventures like sailing, surfing, diving, windsurfing, deep-sea fishing and snorkeling. The sunshine all over the year, blue waters and pleasant weather keeps the water warm providing the ideal environment for tourism. The sandy desert beaches, green palm trees and cool breeze will surely provide the better vacation. The famous resort centers in and near the Hurghada are Al Quesir, Sharm El Naga, El Gouna, Al-Mahmya, Soma bay and Makadi bay. The Makadi bay is a classic spot to enjoy the vacations and it holds the one of the finest five star hotels, Le Meridian. The Le Meridian boosts to have the best swimming pools in the world. El Gouna is another luxurious town with lots of private villas and resorts. Hurghada itself has an airport connecting with prominent cities in the world.
The Great Barrier Reef, situated in the along the coast of northeast Australia, is one of the largest marine park in the world and is comprised of many individual coral reefs. The climate will be hot and rainy with sunshine all over the year. Mostly the shallow water is formed over the reef with the surface temperature of about 21 to 38 Celsius. The high surface temperature is ideal for the growth of many sea plants and serves as home for many sea animals. The sea animals found in the reef are about 300 species of corals, anemones, sponges and varieties of lobsters. The algae mostly red and green algae are characteristic traits of the reef. The Whitsundays and Cairns are the major tourist locations situated on the coast of the reef. Further, there are 900 islands lying across the barrier reef. In order to attract tourists, many activities such as day tours, cruise ships, bare boats, passenger ferries and helicopters are being operated between the reef islands. The major islands like Hagerstown, Great Keppel, Beware, Hayman, Fitzroy, etc has number of private resorts attracting millions of tourists from all over the island. The sandy beaches, fascinating green forests and enchanting blue waters create an awesome stage for a perfect holiday tour.
