Weather forecast for USA
Recently I had to go on business to the US. So naturally I needed the weather forecast. I mean, so that I knew what I had to take with me. Weather forecast New York was promising; the sun that I like so much was scorching there. I’m used to high temperatures and felt that this was not only going to be a business trip, but also some sort of a vacation. A flight to the city that I love so much. I worked for like 3 years without a break, not even going on business anywhere, and now, this is my reward. Ah, New York. Imagine my dismay when just before the flight I saw a storm wreck havoc in the Big Apple. I feel sorry for the people living there, but hey, those weathermen suck. I know they were predicting some deviations in the temperature, but a storm of such size, causing such damage. The British saying “Blame it on the weatherman” is totally correct here. I don’t know now what the people are gonna do. First, unbearable for them, the heat, then the flood. What’s next? Hail? Snowstorm. Well let’s hope it won’t be a snowstorm. Winter is still some 4 month away.
In the news I read that the storm blew across the US. So I wondered ‘ bout Chicago. I have a few friends over there and was rather worried about them. But it turns out that I shouldn’t have. Though the storm came there too, the situation is not the same as in New York. Chicago weather forecast was more or less correct and the people managed to brace themselves for the floods. Those in imminent danger were evacuated. My friends didn’t suffer much. Just shock and nothing else.
Well as you might have guessed my trip was put off. I don’t know when I’ll go to New York. But I promised myself that it will be this year. Despite the weather wreckage, New York is still the most beautiful city I know of.
